A magenta pink soft crepe saree with a Bandhani print and gota patti work, cut 6.5 metres including blouse fabric. Fine Bandhani dots pattern the body into medallions and arches, and gold gota patti traces peacock and vine motifs across the pallu.
Soft crepe falls in a fluid, weighty drape that holds its shape, so the saree looks celebratory without the bulk of a heavy silk.
What you're getting
- Fabric: Soft crepe
- Colour: Magenta pink
- Print and work: Bandhani print, with real gold gota patti hand work
- Pallu and border: Gota patti peacock and vine motifs, with a gota-trimmed border and tassels
- Length: 6.5 metres, including blouse fabric
Where to wear it
Weddings as a guest, festive occasions, family celebrations, pujas and evening parties.
How to style it
Gold jewellery matches the gota patti work; kundan or polki pieces suit wedding functions. A plain magenta or gold blouse keeps the pallu as the focus.
Caring for it
Dry clean only. Gota patti work needs gentle handling: iron on low heat on the reverse side, avoid ironing directly over the gota, and store the saree folded in a muslin cover away from direct sunlight.
Please note: slight colour variation from the images is possible due to camera settings and lighting. Returns and exchanges are not accepted on this ground.
Frequently asked questions
Is this real Bandhani or a Bandhani print?
A Bandhani print. The dots are printed onto the fabric, not tie-dyed by hand. The gota patti, however, is real hand work — gold ribbon applied to the fabric motif by motif. Several of our Ghatchola sarees are genuine tie-dyed Bandhani if that's what you're looking for.
What fabric is this saree made of?
Soft crepe, which drapes fluidly and holds its shape well.
Is this a pure silk saree?
No. It's soft crepe, not silk.
What is gota patti work?
Gota patti is a traditional Rajasthani technique in which gold ribbon is applied to fabric to form motifs. On this saree, it forms peacock and vine designs, and it is real hand work.
What is Bandhani?
Bandhani is a traditional tie-dye craft from Gujarat and Rajasthan, known for tiny dotted patterns. This saree carries a Bandhani print.
Does this saree come with a blouse?
Yes. The 6.5 metre length includes blouse fabric, which you'll need to have stitched to your measurements. A stitched blouse is not included.

Gold jewellery to match the gota patti, or kundan or polki pieces for wedding functions.
What blouse colour goes with it?
A plain magenta or gold blouse keeps the pallu as the focus.
How do I care for a gota patti saree?
Dry clean only. Iron on low heat on the reverse, avoid ironing over the gota, and store it folded in a muslin cover.
How long will delivery take, and is COD available?
