A deep red crepe satin saree with an Ajrakh (Ajarakh) print in cream-white and black, finished with hand-stitched mirror work, cut 6.5 metres including blouse fabric. Folk motifs and floral butis run across the body, and tiny mirrors catch the light throughout.
A black border edge with tassels frames the drape, and crepe satin gives it a soft, fluid fall with a gentle sheen, rich without feeling heavy through a long evening.
What you're getting
- Fabric: Crepe satin
- Colour: Deep red, with cream-white and black motifs
- Print: Ajrakh print with hand-stitched mirror work
- Pallu and border: Ornate medallion bands with fine motif detailing, and a black border edge with tassels
- Length: 6.5 metres, including blouse fabric
Where to wear it
Festive occasions, family celebrations, evening parties and get-togethers.
How to style it
Oxidised silver jewellery picks up the mirrors; gold jewellery warms up the deep red. A plain black or deep red blouse keeps the focus on the pallu.
Caring for it
Dry clean only. Mirror work needs gentle handling: iron on low heat on the reverse side, avoid ironing directly over the mirrors, and store the saree folded in a muslin cover away from direct sunlight.
Please note: slight colour variation from the images is possible due to camera settings and lighting. Returns and exchanges are not accepted on this ground.
